                                                             The story of Medusa

Once upon a time there was a women name Medusa. She was so beautiful that every man that saw her fell in love with her. But even though she was beautiful, she had a bad personality. Medusa would spend most of her days making other women feel terrible about themselves on how they look. Until one day, Medusa went with a man and mated with him in a temple that belong to a goddess name Athena. Athena saw them, and became very angry that the two unmarried people would use the temple in this way. Therefore, Athena punishes Medusa by changing her into an ugly monster with snake like hair. After, she was transformed; Medusa ran away and hid herself from the outside world with her sisters who also turned ugly.

My personal Reaction: My reaction to the story was happy, because the conclusion to the story was fair. Medusa should have been punished from the begining for acting so rude to others.

I believe the authur's intent was to infrom about the story of Medusa. The organizational pattern they use is Cause and Effect.

Love to Read- 01.03

By: Christina Jean-Charles

Based on the reading quiz, the results for me was that I like non-fiction books. Was the result true? No, the result was incorrect. Its not that I don't like non-fiction books; I like them a little, but I prefer to read fictional books than non-fiction. I like fiction books because most of those types of books talk about fairy tales, and events that seems to be impossible. I like to think that life is impossible because in some senses it is. When I read a fictional book, I try to compare the events in the book with my life.
